You can access Microsoft Office products on your Chromebook by logging in to Office.com. You are then able to create and edit documents on the internet with your Evergreen login credentials.
Additionally, you can download the Google Chrome extension for Office 365 to have streamlined access to your documents.
In order to use Zoom on your Chromebook, you'll need to first install Zoom from the Chrome Web Store.
Once installed, you will be able to start and join Zoom meetings by clicking meeting links or by logging into your account.

To download an ebook through our EBSCO database, you will first click the download button and be prompted to create an account.
Click Sign In/Create Account.
You will then see a login screen with a link to create an account at the bottom, where it says "Don't have an account? Create one now."
Once you have created an account, you will then need to download Adobe Digital Editions from the Google Play Store.
Once logged in to your newly created EBSCO account and with Adobe Digital Editions downloaded onto your Chromebook, click the download button again. When the window pops up, check the box indicating that you have installed Adobe Digital Editions (or equivalent) and click Full Download.
Zotero is a free and open-source reference management software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials. Basically, Zotero collects citations of articles and resources you are viewing online.
If you have not already created a Zotero account, you can create one here.
You are not able to download the Zotero program on a Chromebook, but you can access the web version and utilize the Zotero Chrome extension. This extension has limited features, but it will enable you to save citations to your online library.
Login to Zotero online here.
Then, download the Zotero Connector Chrome extension from the Google Play Store.
Once the extension is downloaded and you are logged into your Zotero account online (Keep one tab open on Zotero.org and another for your research.), you can click the extension icon in the upper-right corner of your browser window.
After clicking the extension icon, a pop-up window will ask you if Zotero is running. Since you cannot download the app on a Chromebook, click Enable Saving to Online Library.
Your citation will then be saved into your main Zotero library and can be moved or edited by going to your Zotero online account.

Hypothesis is a web and PDF annotation tool.
You will need to first sign up for a Hypothesis account and download the Google Chrome extension at https://web.hypothes.is/start/.
Once you have downloaded the extension and have logged in, click on the Hypothesis icon on the top-right of your browser window to start annotating. You can pull the annotation menu out by clicking on the arrod.

Screenshots are very handy when you want to capture what is happening on your computer or wish to save an image. Below is two keyboard shortcuts to take a screenshot and an image explaining where to locate the Show Windows button.
To take a screenshot of your entire screen, Press Ctrl + Show windows 
To take a partial screenshot, Press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows
To access your past screenshots, go to Files in the toolbar by clicking the circle Start button on the bottom-left and then clicking the blue Files icon.

External DVD/CD Players
For playing CDs and DVDs:
1. Attach the portable player to your device using the included USB cord.
2. Press the eject button on the player.
3. Insert the disc to play inside the player and close it.
4. The disc should begin playing in your default media player, or you will see the disc Main Menu.
5. Use of the included software disc is optional, but may be useful if you don’t have a media player installed or want to utilize the disc burning functionality.
This player is only compatible with Window or Mac devices. It is not compatible with Chromebooks.
