Open and Beyond: OER and Low-Cost / No-Cost Resources: Videos & Presentations

As teachers are making an emergency shift to online education, one component of that struggle is navigating concerns around copyright when finding digital teaching materials. This webinar series addresses that and is divided into two tracks: K-12 and Higher Education. There are also two stand-alone webinar options that can be attended by both the K-12 and Higher Education community. All of the webinars will also be available on YouTube and linked to this page after the live event has ended.

Cascadia Open Education Summit 2021 is an event offered by BCcampus; California State University, Office of the Chancellor; Open Oregon Educational Resources; and the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. This free digital conference explores innovation, research, and best practices in open education around the theme of “Regional influence. Global impact.”

The goal of the symposium is to showcase current OER work that will help attendees move their own practice forward. Learn about the design, practice, use, and assessment of open educational resources. All employees and students from Oregon’s institutions of higher education, and interested K-12 educators, are invited.
