Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) 2020 State of Our Watersheds report
Put out by the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC), this report covers watersheds throughout Western Washington and provides maps and discussions of a variety of things that impact water quality in those watersheds, including extent of impervious surfaces, riparian forest cover, stream temperatures and flow characteristics, road crossings, groundwater pumping, and shoreline armoring. The focus of this report is on factors that affect Tribal treaty rights to fish and shellfish resources.
State resources
USGS Streamflow monitoring stations, Washington State
Can look at data on gage height, discharge and precipitation data gathered at particular stream gauge stations. Default is the last 7 days but you can select a date range or days before today.
EarthViews Atlas
Provides visual tours of a variety of sites around Washington with some sites in other states. Many of these tours include data on water quality at multiple sites along the tour.
