Washington State History Museum

The WaMA has curated this directory of over 200 museums in Washington including everything from small historical house museums to county historical society museums.
The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History - Latino Collection

Local Libraries

Timberland Regional Library
The TRL library system spans Greys Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Thurston, and Pacific counties with over 30 public access locations. Some resources may require a library card to access but obtaining a card only requires a name, address, and phone number and is valid for 3 years.
Washington State Library
Every U.S. state has a state library catered to each's individual history. Check out WA's publicly accessible resources, no library card needed.
Pierce County Libraries
This library system has 19 libraries spread out through Pierce County. To gain access, you can apply for an eCard or sign up as a visitor!
Tacoma Public Library
TPL has 9 libraries in Tacoma, WA. Like the other listed libraries, there are many types of cards you can apply for to gain access to the full catalog.
