Locating Miniature Books in the Rare Books Room

The miniature book collection is shelved separately in one of the short, windowed cabinets and above on a miniature wooden bookshelf. To search for miniature books in the catalog, select Evergreen Rare Books from the drop-down menu on the right. Then, search for "miniature books" in quotation marks.

What is a miniature book?

A miniature book is any book measuring 3 inches or less in height, width, and thickness. Our miniature collection includes macrominiatures, measuring between 3-4 inches, and microminiatures, measuring 1 inch or less. Many visitors are fond of interacting with our miniature books and trying to read them with our magnifying glass!
